Digital Processes for Education and Management of Construction

In Finland and Estonia the construction sector is changing constantly, especially when it comes to conditions, organizations and teams. People within the building sector are moving across the borders which leads to challenges in communication and fluent interaction. In the construction site environment planners, management and workers have too little time to deliver and acquire enough information on each stage of the workflow. The processes have become more complicated and the tasks more expertised. Due to this the changes in the methods of work require more education.

The DigiEduEt project raises the level of local building know-how of the good quality building standards followed in the Central Baltic Programme Area. It resources the accomplishment of local quality standards and researches the new efficient education models which are more target and sector oriented and suitable for present forms of industrial processes. In addition, the project makes in co-creation a translation and localization of materials of building and construction instruction data files into Estonian language and tests the quality of created content in the research pilot groups.

This way project creates resources for safety and quality standards as good tools for Estonian construction site’s process management, planning and education. Furthermore, the project makes a digital production, installation and web-based publication system for multilingual construction data materials.
